3. Hosting and server log files

Our own website does not set any cookies. However, some of the embedded third-party services described in section 7 may store cookies or similar information on your device or read it from your device. Details can be found in the respective sections below.

6. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address to send you news about our music, concerts and merchandise. Registration uses the double opt-in procedure: after signing up you will receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription. We store the time of registration and confirmation as well as your IP address in order to be able to prove your consent.

7. Embedded content from third parties

We embed content from external services on our website to show you our music videos, our music and our concert dates. When a page containing such content is loaded, your browser connects to the servers of the respective provider. The provider thereby receives at least your IP address and the information that you have visited our website. We have no influence on further data processing by these providers.

a) YouTube

We embed videos from YouTube, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Our website first shows only a preview image of each video, which is loaded from YouTube’s servers (i.ytimg.com); this transmits your IP address to Google. The actual video player is only loaded when you click on a video. We use the privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). When you start a video, YouTube may store cookies or similar technologies on your device and data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

b) Spotify

We embed a music player from Spotify AB, Regeringsgatan 19, 111 53 Stockholm, Sweden. When the player is loaded, Spotify receives your IP address and may store cookies or similar technologies on your device. If you are logged into Spotify, Spotify can associate your visit with your account.

c) Bandsintown

We display our concert dates using a widget from Bandsintown, LLC, 21 Penn Plaza, 6th Floor, New York, NY 10001, USA. When the widget is loaded, Bandsintown receives your IP address and may store cookies or similar technologies on your device. Data may be transferred to the USA.

Legal basis for the embedded content: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in an appealing presentation of our music and concert dates). Where information is stored on or read from your device, this is done on the basis of § 25 TDDDG and, where required, your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you can withdraw at any time.

8. Links to social media and shops

Our website contains simple links (not embedded plugins) to our profiles on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Spotify and Bandsintown as well as to our merchandise shop on Bandcamp and the shop of our record label El Puerto Records. No data is transferred to these providers until you click a link. After that, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.

9. Data sharing

We only share personal data with third parties where this is necessary for hosting and the technical operation of the website, for sending the newsletter, to fulfil legal obligations or to protect our rights. We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising purposes.

We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by statutory retention periods.
